(Self-guided tours of the grounds and access to the Battle of Nashville and Past Uncovered Exhibits)

We will also be providing scheduled educational demonstrations/discussions each day, meeting on the porch of the historic home at 11:30, 12:30, 1:30, and 2:30. Those topics will vary and will be posted daily at our check-in window at the visitor center.

*Reservations are strongly encouraged so we can be monitor capacity for the safety of all our guests, campers, and staff. We will be limiting property capacity to 50 guests at  a time across our 8 acres.

Masks are being STRONGLY encouraged on the grounds for the safety of our staff and all guests. Once the house is open, masks will be REQUIRED to enter the historic house as it is impossible to maintain social distancing throughout the entire tour, even at half capacity.

The historic home will remain closed until Davidson County enters Phase 3 of the Roadmap to reopening. We will begin taking reservations for the house tours once the starting date for phase 3 has been announced.

Historic Travellers Rest is closed on Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thurs & Fri), Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
